  I'm one of the students of Mr.Amaranath. He's the perfect teacher for ambitious people who wants to reach the Climax of many Avenues of Music. Great guidance for Composers, Teachers, Academics, Performers or any Guitar Music Lover. He Teaches Classical guitar for Trinity Guildhall (London) Guitar exams and in addition teaches the Flamenco guitar. I've got a Distinction pass for Grade 5 last year (2015). Now i'm getting ready for the Grade 6 this year. Can't wait to start leaning the Flamenco music on Guitar under his guidance. But it's getting more Interesting.   Mr Amaranath Ranatunga Is the best classical guitar teacher and the best flamenco guitarist in srilanka..his plying Technics and teaching methods are Fantastic..if some one looking for a classical guitar teacher, he is the one you are looking for... He wrote few books about classical and flamenco guitar ,it helps a lot for new classical guitar students to know about, what is classical guitar and how to listen classical music.those are very valuable books for new classical guitar students..   Amaranth Ranatunga is a premier flamenco-classical guitarist in Sri Lanka who he blended the two styles with his virtuosity. He is a humble and simple teacher with humane qualities who generate lots of students including myself. For the first time in Sri Lanka, Amaranath developed a syllabus of classical and flamenco guitar for the four year BA degree and its results are significant and visible. As an academic and a practitioner in the field of guitar he published few books and CD's. I wish him good health and long life to serve our country.

  He is the first Sri Lankan to lecture Classical and Flamenco Guitar in an University, and also the first Asian to developed a syllabus for Classical and Flamenco Guitar for four year BA degree. (Bachelor of Performing Arts)
