  The customer service team blatantly lie to you over the phone. They are clearly trained for their standard response to be the water will be delivered "as soon as possible". it took 4 days and I live in the Rajagiriya area! Over the past 2 days I have contacted them saying that I need a delivery as the water is running out in the lead up to the new year season. They promised it will be delivered but no water arrived and They are now closed because of the New year. No explanation is ever given to you why they dont deliver. Please save yourself the hassle and go to a better water company. I will be cancelling my service as soon as their office opens. I can understand if it happened once, twice clearly shows an organisational issue. customers dont have time to waste on chasing up organisations.

  American Water has to be the most pitiful service provider in the world. They have no concept of urgency, business sense of even accounting - constantly complaining that you haven't paid when you have via your bank online. Avoid this company if you can, nothing is delivered on time or clean or even with friendliness. They are USELESS! It is a wonder they are still operational or the government gives them a licence.

  Avoid this company at all costs! If you are looking for a motley crew who call themselves a company and provide abysmal service standards, American Water is it. It was a constant struggle directing the deliveries, they never came when they said they would, the water pump provided was broken from the start and I did not receive a refund for it. I cancelled my subscription in Dec 2015 and to this day I have not received my deposit back after 10 odd emails and countless phonecalls. Save yourself the hassle and use another company.
