  The view from the terace is beautiful, in the forest. The rooms were clean. Jam is very nice and organised the transport for us including pick up at the station. Good breakfast.

  Aronka Homestay was the best place we stayed in all of Sri Lanka. The location is fabulous for getting into Kandy town and it is right next to the beautiful lake. It is far back enough from the road that you don't hear any road noise at all, just the gentle sound of the waterfall right outside the balcony. The rooms are well equipped with AC and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The bed is very comfy and there are mosquito nets too. The breakfast was superb and I always went out feeling full and ready for the day. I find it hard to criticise any aspect of the place as it was brilliant but all I would say is this was the first place not to put a sausage in the breakfast, which I think is a pretty small point to make! Highly recommended!
