  It's a very good place . One of the pure vegetarian restaurant you will find in Kandy . I like the place very much as I am a pure vegetarian and I was hungry from 2 days when I visited there . And I was unable to find any vegetarian restaurant other than this . Food is very good and mainly staff is even better than that

  I love this restaurant, it’s not stylish but the food and service makes up for it. If you want quality food at a very cheap price, then come here. I’ve never been able to finish my whole meal, ever.

  Very decent place for a local feel and lunch or dinner. Only vegetarian and a simple menu. At times it gets very busy and if you insist to try it, just be persistent and stand your ground -or sit your table- and wait until you gets served. Food was good but not anything to rave too much about.

  Pros: food is awesome. I tried various items and each one was unique and Balaji maintains its authentic taste from the very beginning. excellent value for money. The staff is helpful and friendly. Cons: no parking. Long queue for a table. The tea and coffee they serve is too “contaminated” with sugar

  Food was good (we ordered a bit too much!) and nice to see a purely vegetarian place. Really handy for the Temple of the Tooth as it’s just up the road. The staff were nice as well. It’s kind of a fast food joint but they opened the upstairs and did table service when we got there (some other tourists happened to arrive at the same time so not sure if that’s the norm). All around lovely experience
