::I rarely post any negative review but this restaurant is not recommended if you seek for pleasure from quality of service. Way under staffed and wait staffs ignored you, forgot your orders, brought out wrong food and drinks. Restaurant manager was doing nothing just hanging around chatting with peoples. While I was making comments to him, he offered what seemingly appeared to me as a fake apology. Got one star from me due to food quality being acceptable (READ: you can find similar or better elsewhere) / Google would not allow me to rate 0.3 star. Utterly a disastrous experience for me and highly not recommended for others.

::Lovely place with an open-air setup and plenty of space. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. Great food and drinks at reasonable rates. They also have live jazz performance on Sundays. A definite recommendation.

::My favorite restaurant in Colombo. They have the best lunch deal. Western and local Sri Lankan cuisine both delicious. My all time favourite is the Spicy Devilled Prawn. Staff is very helpful. Come earlier for the lunch, else you might have to wait for awhile. The table turnover is quite fast, maybe after leaving your name in queue list can go for shopping in the retail shop which is connected.

::Lovely place. Great shop with locally made artisan items - everything from beautiful clothes to household articles to children toys. Really colourful and bright. The cafe was delightful with excellent food and a great outdoor area. I would go again in a heart beat :)

::I love Barefoot. Even though I've been many times, it always feel fresh and interesting. The product range updates and cycles subtly, so there's always something new to find. The layout feels natural and organic, and compliments the architecture well, especially in the garden cafe. It is a surprisingly versatile space, hosting everything from book signings to NYE parties. The food is also quite spectacular, though the cafe can get crowded, so I recommend giving yourself enough time to leisurely explore the store and enjoy a meal. Spend a good few hours here, you won't be disappointed.
