  Newly renovated hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They have their own restaurant inside the hotel. They got Chinese menu. Food was delicious. Staff is very friendly and they are willing help help. Pool is small. But it was not a deciding factor. Went for whale watching. It was great experience. You can arrange it from hotel.

  Really dissatisfied... Pool looks better and bigger in pictures... it’s smaller than a baby pool... we were offered to have breakfast during the booking and not provided breakfast in the arrival... food is really bad and very expensive though... Chinese staffs are simply ruining the place... not even worth 1 star

  Brand new Clean rooms, affordable air con room. The management and staff are extremely nice and flexible. They allowed me to checkout at 1pm just so I can enjoy my last day of surfing at weligama.

  The place isn't managed very well.The rooms we received weren't as nice as the ones shown in the pics. Saw a couple of travellers who were sent back due to insufficient rooms in spite of booking them online. However - Blue Whale Holiday Hotel is managed by very nice people, a 10minute walk from the beach and the cook makes amazing, authentic Chinese food.

  Walking distance to the nice beach. Breakfast served on your balcony or by the pool area. It was nice to use the pool rather than be at the beach all day. Airconditoning worked well. Cheap places to eat nearby.
