  Good.strong building.there are buses to most of districts. But there are lots of crows here.it's dirty place.but the service was good.there are also a convenient 3D cinema hall in upper floor.

  Very srtong building with two floors. This bus stand near to the sea. Faced to 2004 tsunami, but not injured .It helped to hundred of peoples to save there lives from tsunami. Wheelchair access available. 3D cinema hall and shops available in 1st floor.

  A number of long distance and rural bus services are available here. For instance, Colombo, Jaffna, Trincomalee, Galle, Weligama, Hakmana, Walasmulla, Kamburupitiya, Akuressa, Deniyaya, Dikwella, Tangalle, Tissa, Kataragama, Ampara, and Nuwara eliya. Bus stand complex is a two storey building and first floor is a shopping complex. There are few pastry shops and and a Cargills Express are located on the ground floor. People's and Commercial ATMs are located nearby.

  Main bus stand in Matara district..There are busses to Colombo, jaffna, Kandy, kurunegala, batticaloa, anuradapura, kataragama, nuwareliya, badulla and all other major destinations in Sri Lanka. Also there is a separate place for super luxury busses which are run in southern expressway.. There are two buildings both are two storied..At the first floor there is a modernized 3D Cinema Hall and several shops for mobile phones, saloons, clothing, stationary etc..

  This is the main bus stand for the matara district and it provides busses to all over the country. As examples you can get a bus to go Thissa, Katharagama, Ampara, Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna, Trinco or any other places. This is a too story building. Busses stop in ground and 1dt floor has a mini cinema, communications, restaurants and shops which are sell phone accessories. There is a beautiful view of the sea. Express way busses are stopped at other side of the road, near the beach. Destinations of the express way busses are Colombo fort, Maharagama, Kaduwela and kadawatha
