  Candy House in Kandy was great. The owner was all smiles. He boiled water for our coffee and also washed my clothes. There is a small kitchen (no cooking), with cutlery, mugs, glasses and plates. He also runs a print shop, so if you need some photo copies, lamenting, Internet on a PC, he is your guy. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. Shop around a bit, because prices vary. The guy selling coconut oil next door overcharged me for water. The owner is currently building a second room with a balcony, so he can take in more guests soon. The rooftop is fun, with tables, chairs, umbrellas, and a great view. If you're coming with children, please be aware the barrier/ledge that overlooks the street is very low. Once you have your bearings, it's easy to find from the tourist attractions and the train/bus station, walking on the main road or taking a short cut through the village. Our 3rd floor room was quiet, clean, cool and comfortable. Hot water shower. Come one and all to this great place.

  Is a room that is rated way too hjgh for what actually is...doesn't even have a window and smells food when the host is cooking. Comfortable and clean tho

  Very close to railway station ,main bus station, kandy town and sri Dalada Maligawa.Very friendly owner.high speed internet ( WiFi ).Low prize.

  Great street and mount view .large balcony. friendly owner. Low prize .large totally private apartment with hot water and free WiFi .
