  Situated right in the heart of the city. Parking is a bit difficult during peak times. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One stop shop for all your grocery needs when in Nuwara Eliya.

  Their fresh fruit section is compact but the passion fruit was the best I had in all over Sri Lanka! Also it was so affordable. Around 2 kilos of passion fruit for less than $2 USD. I returned back several times to pick up fruit. In addition to fresh produce you’ll find all the conveniences of a supermarket. Good operating hours too that accommodate people’s busy lives.

  Excellent supermarket to do your food shopping. It was packed for the new year season. Very friendly staff. Well stocked with lot of space.

  Good super market tou can buy most of the stuff from there. Even it's having the alchol shop as well.

  You have to follow bandaranayaka mawatha in NuwaraEliya town to archive Cargills food city. This is situated in an old building. Front of the area has a sitting area, but it is not an attractive. Anyway it is good. One security man is available at the baggage rack. You can keep your own stuffs securely, until you come back. Most of the racks are wooden very old racks. it has all stuffs, but arrangement of the items and cashier cannot be satisfied. Two cashier points available. It can be arranged better than this to improve the service. Most of the people who visited to NuwaraEliya come to the Cargills food city, since people know it has all stuffs as per their own towns; therefore you have to follow a long que at the evening. Limited vehicle parking available, since it is traffic congested area; you have to careful while your vehicle is parking. However you can park around 10 vehicles. No security was available to guide the vehicle parking. Vegetables which are brought from NuwaraEliya are very fresh. Fruit also same, but fruits like Apple are not fresh as Colombo. Anyway this is good, because Most of the people know this place better than other shops, therefore this best place to buy your stuffs.
