  Most parts of Jaffna are consuming power from this station. Its location is in human surrounding place. Though the engine sound is not distrubing people's life. They have designed with that much consideration. It is very help ful for jaffna people.

  It was the major power station before Luxaphana power come to jaffna. Also this place got lots of problems because of the Nothern Power oil leak. During that situation the waste oil went to underground water and spread more than 5 km surrounding.
