  My favorite Indian restaurant in Colombo, for two reasons, they serve non-veg which is delicious and their prices are great, although its a restaurant at a five star hotel.

  Beautiful atmosphere and ambience with luxury dine in offered at Chutneys, Cinnamon Grand Colombo. Specialized in south Indian foods. Variety of food available. Yummy and tasty. Open for lunch and dinner with ala-cart menu. Reservation is needed to aviod disappointment, but not compulsory.

  I have ordered a mutton biryani. I thought it would be southern style, but it had some cashews and it was vaguely sweet. The mutton was surprisingly good, well roasted and each piece with a rosy texture, still juicy despite the dry look. Unluckily today there was a problem in the kitchen as for about 20 minutes no dishes were coming out and my table finished 3 cups of pappadam before getting the food.

  Enjoyed a fantastic evening with the restaurants pongal activities. they had an amazing vegetarian buffet. the food was authentic and fresh. great ambience. The service was slow today. took more than twenty miniutes to get our order of drinks. even the clearing up of used dishes were slow.
