::Wonderful restaurant directly at the ocean, offering tables even directly on the beach. The staff is very helpful and the fish is fresh from the day. The restaurant is a family business and the father as well as his son explained to us how the fish is caught. We ate a delicious plate of fish for two. We have been to some restaurants in the area, but this one has the best atmosphere and location. A must see!

::First night in Tangalle. Settled in to this restaurant. Overlooking the beach. The service was friendly and efficient. The food, rice, Calamari, Vegs were hot & tasty. The beer cold. Enjoyed an after dinner conversation with the young owner & his fisherman dad.

::Wonderful piece of earth! This Place is Perfect to relax After a Long day at the Beach. You Get local Food and Special Fish from the ocean for a reasonable price cooked inside an old Truck (very Special) This Restaurant is a Family Business and they are very friendly! We can recommend this Place 100% and if You come to Tangalle it is a MUSTBE :-)

::We were walking along the beach for over 2km passing numerous empty beach restaurants unsure of where to go for fresh food. We stopped at the little shack with a "bus bar/kitchen" next to it, also without any customers in sight. They assured us their fish was fresh and we're so glad we took their word for it. They're cracked open a couple of coconuts for us while we waited for them to do their magic from their little bus. The fish was beautiful and perfectly flavoured with garlic and butter, served with red rice, a fresh vege salad and pappadums (of course it was made even better with a touch of chili paste!). Fish platter enough for 2, coconuts and a beer - 2500 rps. Awesome meal and such friendly guys running the place!
