  Good location to bus station and fort is just a few minutes away..well maintained and one of the main station in southern railway

  One of the main Railway Stations in the province. All the trains including Commuters and Express Trains arrive and depart from here. Not a busiest Railway station. You will get easy access to Galle Main Road and Galle Town as well.

  I got a train from here to Colombo. It's pretty easy to buy a ticket and like all train journeys in Sri Lanka is fantastically cheap. If you are returning to Colombo I would highly recommend taking the train journey as it's absolutely beautiful

The stations is the gateway to travelers looking to visit Galle, Mirissa and Matara The central bus stand is just besides the Galle railway station. In terms of passenger amenities, the railway station has all the basic amenities.
