::Ginza Rest, located on Ampitiya-Kandy main road, is easily accessible from the historic city of Kandy. It is a family-owned guest house so that you will feel that you are staying at your own house. At your request, any kind of Sri Lankan food and drinks are hygienically prepared and served. The management is very friendly and hospitable. Most of all, the room charges are fair. Given all what is stated above, I would recommend this gust house is an ideal place for a family or a group to spend their holidays.

::Kandy can be an overwhelmingly busy place. Ginzas Rest is a gem in this quirling city. It is located in a more quiet part of the town, yet easy and fast to reach. We mostly walked to the centre and back. Tuk Tuk drivers of course would tell it's far, but only to promote their own places ... The place is spacious and very tidy. It's quiet at night, no mosquitos and it had one of the best bathrooms on our trip ; ) Ginza and her Son treated us like we were part of her family, the Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and the place even has a doctor in-house. For us it was a perfect place to repair, relax and regain energy after a lot of travelling trough different places. I can only highly recommend this place.
