::This place was just across the road from where we were staying (Sunshine resort for those who were curious.) We ate here not once but twice. It was incredibly delicious, the first time I got a chicken Sri Lankan styled curry and the second time I got a chicken chopsy. The price is good, the service is good and the portion sizes were good too. So overall a good visit! I'd happily go again.

::In general I've found mirissa to be poor for food (places on the beach are slow, overpriced and average - that's always the case I guess). Eventually came here and got better food at half the price. I'm not saying it was the best I've had in Sri Lanka but I really enjoyed it.

::Lots of rice was served but the curries tasted very bland. Overall the food quality was poor. The waitress was not really interested in doing her job. Everything was just dumped at the table without a word. Even a large bottle of water without the glasses. Nothing positive to note and would definitely avoid unless you like poor quality food served by a stroppy waitress.

::Been there every day while I was staying in Mirissa. Really friendly staff, effortable and delicious food, especially the rice and curry. If you want to go local in Mirissa don't go any further.

::We had a pleasant experience dinning in this restaurant aimed at foreign visitors (so their menu wasn't spicy at all, if you like). The prices were cheap and food decent. The only disadvantages were probably noise from the street.
