  The best government hospital for the Northern province. It has separate in-patient wards for different diseases and several consultants treat the patients here. It is the teaching hospital for Jaffna university medical undergraduates. Modern facilities such as CT Scan are available here.

It is the leading hospital in the Northern Province and the only hospital in the province controlled by the central government in Colombo. The hospital is the only teaching hospital in the Northern Province.   Located at the center of the jaffna town. Best hospital in the northern province and one of the best in srilanka. They have almost all the speciality sections. Provide good service to the area. Very clean place. They are doing all the investigations with in the premises. They provide excellent care to the patients.

  Visited several times over a few days for anti rabies injections following a dogbite received on one of my walks. Very friendly staff and clean premises.
