  Beach side prices but really lacking in a lot of ways. We were charged 450 rupees for a lime soda (!) Building work going on in the restaurant while we ate and they were using young children to serve. Not cool. The food itself was fine but I'd recommend they review their menu and lower the prices in line with the service/ambience and location.

  Wonderful little family run restaurant, as name suggests, in the jungle! The food is exceptional. On a couple of occasions when eating there heard people say was the best meal they had had. Try their home made curry, prawns devilled, stewed or just grilled. To die for! And as a bonus they serve large botties of beet for similar price to small cans sokd elsewhere! A bit off the beaten track but worth the effort to find.

  Lovely food for Sri Lanka standarts!!! The staff are so friendly and the place is in the forest! Our food was delicious and good prepared! I recommend it!

  I rarely give 5 stars. Hands down one of the BEST food I’ve tried on this lovely Island! Cleanliness, well to cut to the chase, their bathroom is cleaner than my own one at home 😊. Owner and staff are lovely! Thank you Jungle restaurant, can’t wait to taste the rest of your menu.

  Went here for dinner last night after reading rave reviews, and we have to agree. Beautiful food, so fresh, and the nicest family running it. Highly recommended.
