  I absolutely LOVED my cooking class with Karuna today. The process was clear, fun and the results were - honestly - among the tastiest dishes I have ever eaten, let alone cooked. Can not recommend this experience enough. Be sure to pack cash as you will want to stock up at the spice store, especially for the things that are tough to find at home (roasted curry powder, for instance).

  A simpatia contagiante da proprietária, os excelentes pratos confeccionados por todos,merece com certeza esta minha classificação. Recomendo a quem gosta deste tipo de pratos que vá a esta formação

  March 2017 I took a lesson with Karuna. I enjoyed it really well. We were 6 Czechs and 4 other Europeans which we didn't know, Make sure you have your phone charged to take pictures of the stages of cooking.

  Karuna really makes the cooking class an experience. The class starts with a trip to the vegetable market in Galle by tuktuk, followed by a stop at the fish market. She let's you choose the ingredients you want (with a little help of course!). Back in the small kitchen everyone participates in the preparations: make your own coconut milk, mix the spices, cut the veggies and of course help with the cooking itself. While you're doing that you also have to find time to write down the recipes if you want to be able to reproduce the fine meals later! When finally everything is done you sit down and have the best lunch you'll have in Sri Lanka!

  I can honestly say that the feast our group collectively prepared during the class was the tastiest of all the restaurant meals I have eaten during my 12 days so far.
