  If you are going to pooja you must not eat meat for at least 3 days. Try to bring fruits from trusted vendors in your home town. There's lots of information on which fruits are preferred in the internet. Doing a pooja in the week days is much easier.

  Maybe it's a nice place. I wouldn't know as immediately after we entered a security person approached us and led us to where we should bow to Buddha then took us to the next room where a monk started talking about how great he is and then began to "blessing" us. It was very awkward, then he asked for 2000r\pp as a donation. We refused to pay and said it was very shameful for a monk to do so. We left the place immediately with a very bitter taste and bad feelings.

  Attention to foreign tourists! If some man in this temple tries to make a guidance for you, avoid him! In the end he makes you pay "donation", not less than 2000lkr. It is 100% cheating. But the place is nice overall. Just walk here by yourself and enjoy.
