  This is an ancient historic Buddhist temple. a place of holy and scenic beauty. may devotees gather to offer flowers and worship lord buddha. a very scared place of worship. a large area, well planed surrounding. on full poya days devotes gather by thousands.

  One of the historic temples in close proximity to Colombo. If you are a Buddhist, or even a Tourist, this is one of the must visit places. Parking is plentiful, but it can be crowded on the weekend.

  Sacred and Ancient Buddhist Temple. Enough parking available. Good place for students and kids learn buddhist art and culture. Normally crowded, but good place to spend some time with inner peace
