  We stayed at KK Beach in November 2017 and had the most amazing time. The hotel is gorgeous, modern, perfectly clean and feels utterly luxurious. The staff are great - particularly Samith who was a credit to the hotel. One night we got back later than anticipated and there weren’t any staff. The porter called a couple of them back, including Samith who helped to knock up some delicious food in no time. We were amazed by this effort. He also gave us some great suggestions on places to visit, and was generally cheerful, pleasant and helpful. In fact, I should add that all the staff are lovely. They clearly want guests to feel comfortable. Little touches like bringing cold water if you’re sitting by the pool to you (without being asked) and having beach towels already set out on sun loungers etc. The hotel garden has a gate that leads directly onto the beach. I’ve never been to a beach like it - in an hour we saw maybe 3-4 other people. Idyllic. The hotel restaurant is superb. Pay for breakfast with your stay - you won’t regret it. They do this dish of roast tomatoes served with labneh on bread that is ever so slightly fried (see photo). My boyfriend loved it so much he had it 4 out of 7 days! We liked the food so much we ate there quite a few nights for dinner. We stayed in one of the penthouse suites. By far the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in. Huuuuge bathroom with a massive bath. Fantastic 6’ wide bed. Turn down service nightly ensures the room is comfortable for you when you return from dinner. Reasonably priced laundry service. Large bottles of water provided daily. The list goes on. The hotel was in the process of having an extension built during our stay and this only disrupted us one morning when there was some loud drilling going on at about 9am when we had fancied a lie in, but it wasn’t a huge deal as we had to be down for breakfast by 10.30am anyway. I wouldn’t let this deter you from staying here - the plus sides of this hotel way outweigh this. I can’t recommend KK Beach highly enough.
