  Dushan was my guide for 3 days, he took me from Sigiriya to Kandy to Nuwara Eliya and finally to Ella. He was always very nice and flexible with the tour itinerary; it really depended on what I needed and where I felt like going. He's a great guy, trustworthy and patient. I was really lucky to have found Dushan because I was a solo female traveler, and I hadn't really done by research very well. For example, I was planning to take a train from Ella to Colombo (which is supposedly a must-do) but I had no idea tickets run out a week in advance... when I told Dushan my plans... he made sure the train station was one of the first places he took me to, to get the ticket. I ended up buying the LAST ticket! He knows his stuff, and he looks after his guests. He ended up being more like a friend than just a guide :)

  Dushan was a very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable guide. He was able to put a trip together at the very last minute for a friend and I to Sigirya and Dambulla, which was a fantastic experience. We were also able to stop by other interesting points of interest on the way back. Not only were the sites incredible, but I really enjoyed discussing Sri Lanka's culture, politics and history with Dushan. I really appreciated his genuine curiosity for my life experiences, and his ability to express his own within Sri Lanka.
