  Limegrove Rest offers the perfect budget accomodation in Kandy! Exceptional location less than 5min walk from the lake and the Temple of the tooth relic. The rooms are in the 4thfloor offering a nice, very relaxing view of the city. In front of them there is a very well thought common area with a shared kitchen and TV and offering free coffee and tea. I stayed in the single room, which was perfect and very clean. Good size for one person, very good AC, good bed and matress and a closet. Enough sockets for your gadgets and a nice, probably recently made bathroom with a very rare finding in Sri Lanka in budget rooms..a glass door in the shower protecting the bathroom from getting terribly wet, when u take a shower! The guesthouse is run by a lovely family with Kevin being the host, a young, very professional, polite, friendly, always smiling guy speaking an exceptionally good english. He was very kind to offer me a late check out, as I needed to stay two hours more, and also out of charge! Moreover, he was immediately willing to help me and send to me an important item I forgot in the room after leaving. All in all a perfect place and host in Kandy, very highly recommended.

  Lovely place to be. We were there for 3 nights. Friendly people and walking distance to temple of the tooth relic and many more .. Thank you vey much like grove rest !
