  Ideal location. Good and timely service despite busy time. We had the sea food grill platter which tasted very good though the squid could have been grilled longer. We would recommend the devil fish with curry and rice - adequately spicy and very tasty juicy fish. Banana crepe afterwards was delicious. We relaxed and had shisha before leaving.

  Great for cocktails (before 8pm) and delicious seafood as well. We started off as fans of the cocktails at sunset - while beer has a set price across the beach the cocktails at the Lucky Tuna start at 600 and pack quite the punch - that is until 8 pm or so when the daiquiris are downsized and the Caipirinhas mysteriously forgot to have rum added. They make excellent fries, for those craving a change from rice and curry, and the prawns and cuttlefish were the highlights of the seafood platter.

  Nice restaurant on the beach. Was recommended by a local as the best place on unawatuna to get seafood. The seafood was good and there was a few vegetarian options on the menu which were ok. The price was reasonable and the drinks strong. The shaded seating areas were definitely a plus.

  we had dinner here on one of our 3 nights in Unawatuna. we picked the place because on a previous night it was jam packed. the fish curry was good, but unlike other places it was just that - a plate of half rice and half fish curry. no sambal, no vegetables, etc. the grilled cuttlefish was also good, but lacking some of the usual accompaniments. tablecloths were dirty. service was quick, but at payment time our waiter stood next to us waiting for his tip, despite the 10% service charge already in the bill! weird experience overall, not sure I would return
