::we had one and half hour boat safari with 6 persons. had fish foot massage, free cinnamon tea in cinnamon island, worshiped a temple. Greate expieriance than thought.

::This is a nice activity in Bentota. You can take a 1.5 hour river boat trip in the Madu River. They take you along the river banks, islands, mangrove forests and cinnamon forests as well. It also includes a short trip to a Buddha temple in the middle, a fish spa center, and also a mini session on how to extract Cinnamon from cinnamon trees. It's very safe and they give you adequate life jackets for the trip. Don't miss this activity either early in the morning or late evening so that you avoid the heat. Per boat trip costs 3000 Sri Lankan rupees and not per person basis.

::Very nice boat ride in the evening during sunset, saw the birds coming back to nest and some monkeys, cinnamon island is serene. Fish spa is a nice touch, excited kids.
