  Don’t know what’s so great about this place. The curry was small (only 4 shrimps where it proudly said “prawn curry”) and the prices are average for Sri Lanka which maybe seems small for a Western traveler. The place is shabby and next to the road. We haven’t yet tried other eateries in Mirissa but unless they are x2-3 time more expensive we’ll not come back here.

  This place is great. I went for lunch and they were packed. It doesn’t look like much but the food is tasty filling and authentic and the family that runs it is really friendly. The prices are really good, especially for Mirissa, and you can see a small bit of sea. I had the Kottu and it was lovely. They have some nice chill sauce as well. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Great for a quick cheap tasty meal.

  Simple, cheap and delicious. Would definitely pick this family run place over the seafront restaurants that often are a big let down.
