  Superb hotel! Really worth the money. Directly on the sea. Good cook and food. Big rooms with seaview. Tip: ask for suite 205 with seaview.

  Beautiful luxury boutique hotel with a relaxing view and peaceful surrounding. Food is incredibly good.Staff is very attentive, friendly and professional. Definitely the best place to spend a relaxing time.

  Let me start with the main reason for this low rating: I got a rather strong electric shock in the bathroom when I wanted to turn on the mirror light (whole case in metal) - my hand is actually still hurting a day after. The staff did not take this incident seriously, some employees were even laughing about it. Upon request to the GM, we were allowed to change the room, but only the next day (We were the only to guests in the hotel, so no reason for this delay). The GM promised us a room upgrade but we were just given the same room category (again, no other guests were in the hotel). The rooms are spacious and modern, some of the interiors' applications are already damaged, Windows and curtains are extremely dirty (see pictures). The staff is generally very friendly, but one can tell that none of them ever got a proper training. Some of them talked bad about the hotel in private discussions with us and offered us private tours and activities with them rather than the hotel. All of this is a sign of poor management to me. But of course not everything is bad. The pol area looks extremely nice (too bad it's not allowed to have a drink at the pool) and beach is astonishing. All in all, I have visited nicer hotels in Sri Lanka in this price category and would not come back here (mainly because of the service level).
