  An earlier review was spot on. The rice and curry (750 LKR) on the whole is rather under-spiced and toned down. The dhal, for example, has nary a trace of chilies, pandan nor tempering spices (e.g. curry leaves or black mustard seeds). This is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s evidently popular with the tourists on Tripadvisor, and it was perfect for my stomach, which was feeling a little upset at the time. The owners are also very nice and it’s a pleasant place to eat. However, those looking for the wonderful complexities of Sri Lankan cooking will need to look elsewhere.

  I visited this and awesome place....People have option to write feedback on walls...Nd amazing food...I ordered curry rice and got big food options....Amazing yummy tasty...

  We had dinner here on our last night in Sri Lanka and we loved it. A must if you’re visiting Sigiriya. The hosts are very friendly and their curries are superb. For 850 you can get the whole buffet including dessert and coffee/tea. We highly recommend this place!

  Buffet lunch was faintly priced but dishes were mild/bland with the exception of the eggplant and papadum which were both excellent. However, the ingredients used were of high quality and the restaurant’s bathroom was extremely clean, even by western standards. All up a very pleasant lunch stop
