  Recommended to visit early in the morning or in the evening. Get crowded on special days like poya, new year, etc. Lot of space to meditate or stay in peace. Walking paths get very hot during the day and difficult to walk if you are not used to walk on hot surfaces without shoes.

  One of the most miraculous places on earth. Respected and worshipped by millions of Buddhists from all a over the world. Clean and nice place. Floor around the Great "Saya" is well made, and comfortable.

  Must visit this if you go to Anuradhapura. Calm place. During the day time it’s bit hot. At night it’s very good for worshiping. Very calm and good environment at night.
