My wife took her mother to Sethma Emergency unit with a head injury. Staff had treated them like it was nothing when mom was bleeding out her head. She was directed to OPD doctor and has treated just as any other OPD patient making them to stay for their turn. Again i need to mention that our mom was bleeding out with a scull fracture. Doctor has prescribed an xray. After all they were told that we need to take mom to another hospital since they don't have advanced imaging services such as MRI or CT and no rooms available(suddenly). Now comes the worst part. Their ambulance service is the worst. No nurses provided and driver is a dumb slow driver. Even tuk guys takeover that idiot. My advice, use your own vehicle or tuk might be a better option. I came from dematagoda to wattala hemas and from there to ragama browns by the time sethma ambulance arrive browns hospital.

No parking at all. Mostly focused on consultant channelling service. Chargers are higher comparing with the similar places in town. Experienced doctors are available in OPD in day time which is a plus point comparing with the other places.

My farther was admitted to sethma hospital due to low blood preassure. He was in a lot of pain and screaming. So i went to the lady doctor who is in charge and asked what is the matter with him. Then she asked me "why do you ask me go and ask from the patient" she was scolding us that we are blaming her. we discharged him and took him to lanka hospitals and and he still at the ICU. I can remember that as he was taking outside in the trolley; other nurses were laughing while looking at him. And the ambulance was more like a lorry rather than a ambulance. They did not even give us a oxygen tank. I will never go there even for a normal flue. And i will not recommende this place to anyone (I will never call this place a hospital)

might be the worst pvt. hospital in Sri Lanka. From the hospitals I've visited, no doubt this is the worst. The staff, especially the doctors and sisters (or were they nurses?! , I don't know) were very rude. The patient I went with was screaming in pain so me and my father went to the Doctor who was in the ward and asked her what's wrong and have you carried out investigations. Her reply was "why don't you go and ask from the patient". It was really rude. But the doctor's (she was a young lady doctor) rude attitude only made us realize we need to transfer the patient to a different hospital. We brought the patient to Lanka Hospitals and at the moment also he is in the ICU. The doctors at Sethma didn't even have a clue that our patient needed Intensive Care. And though we are grateful for providing us with an ambulance, the ambulance was more of a lorry than an ambulance. But the driver risked his life to get us to Narahenpita as fast as he can. Didn't have O2 in it. Our fault actually for not calling the new ambulance service. We all were disoriented as the patient was screaming in pain. Please think twice before going to Sethma for treatments. It may have good doctors you can channel but do not admit yourselves for treatments. The cleanliness and the environment was very very poor. The equipment in rooms(heart rate monitors) were not working. Again must be thankful for the rude doctor who was showing her English speaking abilities to people who needed to know about the patient and making us realize the poor care the hospital staff intended and made us transfer our patient.
