  Good seafood here, waiters aren't particularly interested in selling the food (we weren't sure they were still serving!) but they brought over the selection and we chose a big fish. Well cooked, pleasant place to watch sunset.

  Really lovely little beach hut, super simple and chilled out. They have no menu, you are just given the option of various seafood that is brought out uncooked on a plate. Super traditional. I got the whole fish. It came with a side of rice and was marinated in some really nice sauce. The hut is right on the beach, and it’s so relaxing just to sit and watch the waves there. They also have some chairs and hammocks where you can relax after eating. There isn’t a huge option for food or drinks (soft drink, water and beer) but again it’s super simple, and it’s part of the charm) The guys are nice, but not super chatty, just laidback. Definitely worth the money for what you get in terms of food and a memorable experience.

  Sha Sha seafood was one of the best eating experiences we had in one month of travelling Sri Lanka. The first thing you notice other than the extremely breathtaking sunsets is that the seafood is super fresh. As a person who has had seafood all his life I could immediately sense it in the taste and smell. The food is not exorbitantly priced. You can have food for 2 at about 2000 Sri Lankan rupees. We had the prawns and and it was sublime. The service is also super nice and they even put our beer on the house.

  Great fresh seafood. The prawns were amazingly cooked. There isn't a set menu so you can check what's available and the prices, and they'd he happy to show the catch that day. The location can't be beat with the waves right in front of you. One of the guys who runs the place was really friendly and he didn't bill our drinks in the end, saying that it's on the house. We ended up leaving a good tip and feeling that it was still too low for their service and food. Recommended.

  Highly recommended, small restaurant on the beach. Tasty food, nice people in an amazing setting on the beach. They have only a few types of meals but those are fresh and they prepare it in an amazing way and the beer is also nice and cold ;) The quality and the portions are much better than those of the nearby restaurants. Like most beach places this is cash only.
