  SLIIT Sri Lanka Institute of information technology one of the largest private campus in Sri Lanka. It is largest IT degree awarding institute in Sri Lanka . SLIIT was established in 1999. In 2001 SLIIT became a degree awarding institute approved by the University Grants Commission under the Universities Act. Currently, SLIIT offer both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and accommodate over 7000 students, including international students from various regions in the world. More than 9000 alumni have graduated from our three faculties: Business, Computer and Engineering. Many campus has SLIIT. There are malabe campus (main campus), metro campus kollupitiya, Jaffna center, mathara center, Kurunegala center and Kandy center. SLIIT. Faculty of Computing The origins of the Faculty of Computing goes back to the formation of SLIIT in 1999, when it introduced degrees in information technology. It has since expanded to cover several more areas of computing such as computer systems, networks, information systems, software engineering, interactive media and cyber security with most programs accredited by The Institution of Engineering and Technology. Departments of the Faculty of Business Department of Business Management Department of Information Management Faculty of Engineering Edit Established in 2013, the Faculty of Engineering was started with SLIIT started its own BSc in engineering degree programs having conducted similar program with Curtin University. Programs cover engineering disciplines of civil, electrical, electronic, materials, mechanical and mechatronics. Departments of the Faculty of Engineering Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Graduate Studies The Faculty of Graduate Studies is a graduate school it conducts taught and research post-graduate degree programs such as MScs, MPhils and PhDs in the fields of engineering and computing. Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management The Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (CAHM) was started in 2012 as a joint venture with SLIIT and William Angliss Institute to proved a degree in tourism and hospitality management. SLIIT Computing SLIIT Computing is a subsidiary of SLIIT offering degrees in information technology. School of Architecture The School of Architecture was established in 2015 offering BSc degrees programs in architecture and quantity surveying from the Liverpool John Moores University.
