  Most horible place ever!!!! We left immediately and they took 1000 rupies because they give money to driver as he brought us there!!!

  Do not stay here under any circumstances! Room was not as pictured or amenities described and it was filthy with a horrid stench! Complete with cockroaches. How hard is it to wipe a toilet seat? Room is over priced at $100 as a "luxury room" when it's the same as the other rooms just on top floor. The pictures promising a sea view don't show you that you aren't right on the beach, you are in a 6 level eyesore of a building back from the beach which overlooks a disgusting yard full of garbage on one side, and in front there's actually a cluster of loud bars and other garbage, and somewhere behind all of that you can see a tiny bit of beach. Be prepared for the bar downstairs to start blaring dance music at 12.30am until late into the night! The air con technically turns on but does not work, there is no hairdryer / soap etc. Your "private balcony" is accessible to anyone in the hotel. There are signs up telling people to go upstairs for a sea view, so expect people right outside your door sitting on "your private balcony" chatting all night. Worst of all the owner is a dishonest liar. He forced us to pay upfront for our 6 nights and refused to refund us after we saw our room and told him all the problems and that we were leaving. He simply laughed at our complaints and pretended he needed to call another boss but couldn't get through (I could see him just pushing random numbers on the phone). You could tell he couldn't care less and was used to complaints but didn't care. Don't give him your money!! Stay down the other side of Mirissa beach for same price in a lovely clean place with an actual waterfront view like we did!

  We booked Sunbeam for 2 nights and finally ended up staying 7 !!! We were really happy of our decision with the warm welcome of the staff on arrival. Room was Spacious ,Clean , and the bed was the Best part of our stay.We stayed in Room 405. Super view of the Ocean. They even provide Complimentary Water bottles every day !This hotel had everything we need. Friendly Staff.Fast Wifi,Beach,Money Exchange.They even arranged us a Whale Watching Tour which was Awesome.Arranged our Airport Taxi too from the hotel which was cheaper than many other options in Mirissa. We'll come back soon!! Lots of Love from Liam and Me !!! Stayed January 2014, traveled as a couple

  It is a good value place for me compared with previous hotel rooms ,the room is spacious but the toilet is smelled no good. breakfast is ok. It. It is very near the Mirissa beach, quite a good view from the balcony～Grilled seafood is served during night~cheap price and delicious~manager is kind and hardworking~~hoho
