  Nice cosy place to enjoy AC after walking around for a while. The tea was great, but the waffle with maple syrup was even better, i was really craving for that type of dessert :) The downside was that i found the prices a bit high, but with that location, i understand

  This place is great for having tea and coming with friends. The service is superb and the ambience is good and perfect. Right next to main attraction. If you feel tired of walking specially in the hot weather this is a place to be.

  The cafe looks cozy but in fact it feels like an igloo. They set the temperature extremely low and the washroom is out of the cafe, causing differences in the body temperature. This is a general issue in Colombo, air condition is always set too low while the city is hot and humid. But i would expect this place to be more professional and environment friendly. Both of us caught a severe cold after this visit. The carrot cake was also warmed in the microwave and the ice cream had frost bits, so i would not recommend the sweets. The tea was nice and the decoration was well taken care of, but the place definitely does not deserve a star visit as the lonely planet recommends.

  Good place to chill for the afternoon. A great list of drinks and beverage offered here. Lots of food items too... some food / desserts are good but never order the churros, it was sooo bad ( especially when you looked at how they make that with microwave from second floor)... the signature tea kitsch is not bad but the condensed milk amount bartender added is a bit inconsistent. The sweetness is not the same as I went there 3 times in 3 days and it always taste a bit different. I prefer flavored kitsch than the original one.... Price is fair overall and tea is okay. A good place to buy some tea or have a cup of afternoon tea!
