  The ultimate beach in Sri Lanka. A large tourist attraction and famous for its beautiful beach and corals. This is voted as one of the best beaches. It is lined with palm trees and golden sandy beach. The views are out of this world overlooking the Indian Ocean. This is a picturesque beach and watching the sunset on this beach is a memorable experience. A beautiful haven.

  Nice and peace beach. You can use a sunbed all day long if you order a drink at the restaurant. Also,I bought a float at the shop near the beach. It was nice to float on the sea.

  It’s so beautiful in unawatuna beach! It is crowded but not too bad. Board sea ride also one of the best activities. A lot of restaurants among the beach with different choices. The sea seems clean and we loved the gold sand!!!.

  Unawatuna beach is quite lovely and one can spend some quality alone time over there, soaking up the sun and having some delicious food along with it. You will find many scuba diving centers here for scuba diving courses and the water is quite blue and mesmerising. I spent around 2-3 days here, just chilling at the beach and indulging a little water sports. Absolutely loved my time here!

  Whats good The affordable and accessible beach buzzes with people of all kind. The waves are deep and water is clean. Restaurants and shacks are abundant. Whats not good Approach road is narrow. Better to go to the end of beach where the highways meets. What to do Swim, snorkel, scuba - everything is available at good rates. Peace Pagoda is walking distance. Stay at the hotel as near the beach as possible because the night life is equally active.
