  The University Grants Commission (UGC) is the apex body of the University System in Sri Lanka which was established on 22nd December 1978 under the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978. The functions of the UGC are; planning and coordination of university education, allocation of funds to Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), maintenance of academic standards, regulation of the administration of HEIs and regulation of admission of students to HEIs.

  I went there once for a problem with my UGC login. They attented my problem really quick and treated me in a really friendly manner. keep it up the good values.

  2017/01/11 இன்று 12:15 p.m. மணியளவில் ugc commission க்கு மிகவும் முக்கிய விடயமாக அழைப்பினை மேற்கொண்டிருந்தேன். இவ்வாறு இருந்த போதும் இவ் அழைப்பினை முதலில் ஒரு நபர் ஏற்று Hello எனக் கூறினார். இதன்பின் நானும் Hello எனக் கூறி தமிழில் கதைக்கத் தொடங்கினேன்.உடனடியாக இவ் அழைப்பு வேறு ஒரு தொடர்புக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டது. ஆனால் யாரும் இவ் அழைப்பை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. சுமார் ஐந்து நிமிடங்கள் அழைப்பு மணி அடித்தது இதன் பிறகு தானே வைத்துவிட்டேன். எனது விடயமும் தீர்க்கப்படவுமில்லை.
