  Stayed for 3 nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was clean and spacious. We stayed in a deluxe family room, which was a huge lovely room with 2 x 4 poster beds, a kitchen and dining area, large fridge, satellite tv, 2 air conditioning units. There were table, chairs and sun loungers outside the room on roof terrace. Swimming pool was lovely temperature and very clean. Excellent WiFi connection in room and we even got some signal around the pool which is not guaranteed. Breakfast was standard Sri Lankan offering, tea/coffee, fresh mixed fruit juice, fresh fruit plate, choice of eggs, toast and marmalade. Local wildlife was good, a family of monkeys in the trees near to the accommodation, which stayed in the trees. A good distance from the main road in hikkaduwa, meaning you didn’t hear the car/traffic noise, but only a short walk to the bars/restaurants/beach. There is a train line which runs through hikkaduwa is not that far so you do hear it but it is not close enough to disturbed you properly, be cautious as other hotels are right next to the tracks this one is not, thankfully :-)
