  if you travel on a budget vila south is a must. the host, Nadee, is very warm and nice person + there are her hausband and son. actually you live with them, in their house. room was small, but cosy, the living room is big enough for all, breakfast is a must, the best we had in 3 week travel in Sri Lanka. the location is a bit out of town which means calm nights (no honking), it is still only a couple of minutes walking absolutely recommended.
