  This is a very well designed upstairs holiday home located in Tangalle in Southern Sri Lanka. The property is very close to the famous Tangalle beach along Medaketiya road. It consists of two bedrooms in each floor. Currently, the pantry is on the ground floor though the owner is planning to have a kitchenette on the first floor as well. Ground floor has one well appointed bathroom, and so does the upper floor. It has a nice lobby area on each floor though the dinning area is on the ground floor next to the pantry. The whole house is ideally suited for a group consisting of 8 persons. The house is very clean and well kept. Front and back yards are beautiful with nicely maintained lawns and thoughtfully planted foliage. There's space to park two vehicles. The centrepiece of the property is it's proximity to the lake behind it. Step out of the backyard, and you are face to face with the lake full of wildlife. On a good day (morning) you are likely to spot about 20 species of birds. Needless to say that it's a haven for bird photographers. If you are patient you will be greeted with the sights of Cormorants and Kingfishers skillfully finding their day's catch of fish. There are numerous restaurants serving delicious food along Medaketiya road - just a few hundreds of meters of walking from the villa. There's no reason for you to be disappointed if you decide to stay here for a few days. You can make it a base for visiting Rekawa, Ussangoda, Kalmetiya, botanical gardens, the open zoo, Hummanaya etc.

  my stay at the Villa was my favourite during the traveling around Sri Lanka. Place is new, modern, very comfortable and arranged with taste. you have a kitchen for your disposal, beautiful garden with perfectly green grass, nice siting area just at the lagoon. The owner is fantastic, he was very helpful, always kind and understanding. I wish the rest of my stay would have such a level! totally recommended! I am very happy I stayed there. great value for the Price.

  A very nice place with a very homey ambiance.. well designed, constructed and maintained. situated in a good location: along the lagoon and a few minutes walk to Tangalle Beach. One evening, we grilled seafood with the help of the very nice owner and we dined along the lagoon and saw fireflies! Rooms were perfect most specially the room upstairs with the balcony. Sheets and towels smelled fresh. Bathroom is separate from the room. The best accomodation so far in our stay in Sri Lanka!

  Certainly the best place we've had during our month trip around Sri-Lanka. You get a spotless modern villa with kitchen, garden and terrace next to a small lake, for a budget price. In two days, while sitting in the terrace, we got to see loads of flying foxes, fireflies, birds and even 2 huge water monitors! The villa is nicely located, less than 5 minutes walk from the main beach and the owner is really friendly! The WiFi works good, which is not always the case in Sri Lanka. You can also wash your clothes for free !

  We have had a wonderful month residing in this beautiful, well appointed, modern villa with the highest standards of cleanliness. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, Sanjeewa. Set in a quiet residential area but very close to the beach and all other amenities. Would highly recommend!
