  Hello, One star because: - we were lucky that we had purchased our lonely planets, because their guide was not so familiar / prepared. For instance he did not informed us about little England area at Newara Elia - they (driver and guide) suggested not to purchase the local sim at the airport, and they said better do it later. As consequence we bought it 3 days later. - after the bus picked us on, we were supposed to go toward north direction, but they drove us for two hours in south direction to their office. There we wasted 1h for the paymeny. After we needed to drive again fo 2h in north directoin to get again near the airport, do to proceed finally toward Anuradhapura. The best part is that they did not use the highway to save money, and it was only 20min ride!! Moreover they did not want to stop for dinner and we needed to force them. - The air condition in the bus was not good, maybe because of dirty filters or bad regualtion. We wanted to open the windows to change air and mitigate the regulation issue, but they would not want because they simply would want to prevent the bus from the dust. They would want to save money / avoid the bus cleaning. - they wasted time many times. For instance the last day they did not fill the fuel tank and we wasted time at station even if the two previous days we did not use the bus (so they had plenty of time to fill the bus tank). - they were not familiar with the places where to stop & eat on the way. A certain number of times they choosed very bad restaurants. To give an idea one of them was full of monkeys and one of these jumped on our table and stole  our food. - Generally the quality of selected hotels was at the bottom of tripadvisor ranking. I needed to call in  advance each hotel to mitigate this issue by booking the best room or by asking improvements such as an electric heater at nuwara eliya hotel, which had unheated rooms. - two days before the train on plantation tea area the guide said no rervation of seats. So I needed to pay a tip to the guide to be sure he was able yo catch a couple of seats for us. If I knew it more in advance I would have booked the seats. I would not suggest this operator. STAY FAR!!

  Hi we had a well organized memorable tour with Aloys. the driver kamal was very helpful the hotels were perfect. we En-joyed Marco
