  Ambasewana is a good restaurant specially for indian meals facing the beautiful matara sea beach. They provide chinese food too. Generally, prices are a bit expensive but quality of meals is really good and very tasty. They offer budget set menus and one can try good indian combos. Restaurant itself is very pleasant and elevated seating arrangement enables maximum sea views for everyone. Service is satisfactory. Waiting time is about 10 to 15 minutes. Finally, it is one of the best restaurants in Matara town.

  Food did not taste good and service was not up to the standard of the place. There was no soap in wash basins and one tap was out of order.

  Can order via telephone, bit busy place. Good food. Clean. Superb location
