  Jaffna Vegetarians who has to eat outside did some bad karma in previous life. I've born and still living in Jaffna. If any one say Jaffna veg restaurants are good he/she no way experienced eating outside much in different cities or countries. If not he never ate a good veg food. I wanted to give 5 stars. Because this restaurant has a cause. But my experience was really bad when I was visited that can only let me give 1 star. Because of the cause I will give two stars. Any foreigner should not take this as authentic Jaffna vegetarian cuisine. I ask you to visit any vegetarians home to enjoy authentic tasty jaffna vegetarian cuisine. (Make sure they are vegetarians, Eating veg in non vegetarian house most of the time bad experience, I'm telling this from my own experience because they are not used to traditional veg cooking ) Women who are cooking in Ammachi are very kind and hospitable. Their Tamil is very sweet. They speak authentic northern Tamil accent. i'm sorry not the food. I still recommend every one to visit and have an experience. It's worth a visit If food is not your main concern. At least for now. I wish they will improve their standard better soon.

  Variety of Authentic Jaffna food served in a natural way (in banana leaf and less polythene) and the staff handling the food follow the basic food hygine procedures (hair nets, tongs to handle food, etc..). The price of the food is highly competitive and recommend this place for those who look for healthy and a variety of ancient traditional Jaffna food under one roof.

  Great place. Good quality food at a low price. Mushroom soup full of mushroom pieces only Rs50. Tasty milk hoppers Rs30 for 2. Needs wider variety.
