::The family who owns this place is so kind and helpful! The rooms were very clean and the bathroom had hot water! This homestay is about 5 kilometers outside of Kandy city center, which for us was really nice to be out of the chaos and hustle of the city. You can hire a tuk tuk for about 300 rupees to get to the main city and back, or you can take the local bus for about 20 rupees. Also note that goole and booking have the wrong location on the map because they don’t have the road that this homestay is on. But if you have maps.me you can find it without a problem!

::Sara's Homestay is the perfect place if you stay in kandy for a while. It's quite cheap and the owner is so nice and helpful. The rooms are very tiny and the breakfast was delicious - we can highly recommend to stay at Sara's Homestay!
