  Normally masjid not coloured using red, but this one is exceptional and big enough to hold many people. The architecture and the interior are more artistic and cultural

  If you are looking for cheaper textiles, shoes, fancy items etc., and you dont mind the congession, then this is the right place for you. You can bargain with many sellers to get the item you want for the cheapest available price. This is not an ideal place for tourists to make a shopping visit though.

  Aslam Market is a place to buy saree for women. this is situated in colombo 1, 2nd cross street. The price of the saree's will be very low when it compares to out side shop since the sellers in the Aslam Market is always sell their sarees @ whole sale price. Not only the norman sarees but also woman can buy bridle sarees from Aslam Market.
