  Located about 40 km from Colombo which you can reach in about 1hr, this bungalow is located on top of a rubber plantation and seems like build around 150yrs ago by planters. There is a road stretch of about 2.5 km which is a private road into the property which is a gravel road with some cement covered patches. Due to the unevenness of the road ground clearance of the vehicle might be an issue for some vehicles. It has a very nice view all around the place with a very nice swimming pool located about 100mtr away from the bungalow. Garden is covered with lots of trees and bushes in a maintained manner. Rooms are very spacious, but only has very basic amenities and you might find some of them broken as well. This is an ideal place to have a team get together or a group day picnic. Upper floor is finished with wood and might make sounds when you walk but while you are inside the building its like you are living in that era of the planters in a hill country climate. Staff is very helpful, and they will prepare the food in whatever way you prefer but you will have to bring your supplies and you will have to pay some extra to get food BBQed. If you are looking for a place to enjoy with a group friends/colleagues in a private place in a very smoothing climate this would be an ideal pick.

  Nice place but very poorly maintained. The service of the staff could be improved a lot.

  Nice place for a relaxing vacation or a dayout.calm & quiet place.maintanance is not quiet good.management should pay more attention for maintain the good quality of bunglow.

  Beautiful estate that is situated very close to Colombo, therefore it is an ideal place for a quick getaway for a large crowd.

  Amazing place.. 147 years old bungalow..road entrance not in good condition.. bungalow not maintained properly. Pool also not cleaned.
