  It wasn't a kind and positive experience as anticipated. The head nun repeatedly said she didn't want people at the Centre and she seemed most displeased I didn't have a voice recorder. Contrastingly I was given a warm welcome over the phone two weeks prior to my arrival with directions to the centre and a list of things to bring, which was really helpful. I wish it included the voice recorder. I must add, another lady staying at the same time at the centre was an amazing person who made my stay as pleasant as it was. She definitely was a living embodiment of loving kindness as taught by Buddha. The one thing I'm greatful from my experience is to meet someone as inspiringly kind as this lady is.
