  A historical place used by Sri Lankan rebels against the British arms. The entire downhill can be viewed from this place. Even the Kandy - Colombo railway line. The place has a great storylines. If you are visiting the place try to contact a Balana committee memeber for more and interesting information. You can get into the place with an ease by the main road, after passing a staircase about 500m.
