::Few days back, one of the male employee from this branch had verbally abused my 67 years old mother, and calling her "all Muslims are the same" in front of all other clients for filling up multiple slips for withdrawal, apparently she was trying to withdraw from different accounts. It has been more than 2 weeks since I wrote to the BOC Head Office, I never received any responses to email, but one of the guys name Sarath from 'Customer Relations' called me and said would get back on the complaint after checking with the branch. But so far there has been no outcome despite repeated follow ups. Ideally, I believe the branch manager should have contacted the customer by now, and this would have been the case with private banks. Unfortunately with government offices and banks especially with majority of workforce being inefficient, lethargic without any concern or interest in their personal / career development continue to keep the things where they were about 25 years back.
