  Quiet old airport but easy going , duty free here sells mostly tea as Srilanka is known for it's tea plantation

  Very Helpful officials.During my visit level of cooperation available from BIA officials appreciable.Hundreds of passengers are using arrival terminal everyday without any hazard.

  Very basic infrastructure and shopping options. In need of a major renovation. But airport is kept clean and tidy.

  This is the Sri Lanka's one and only main airport. This place needs to be reconstructed with global standards. Most of the processes are done manually and some officers doesn't know to speak English. There's only few duty free shops available.

  World’s worst airport ever. No doubt. Baggage comes late. Staff are not efficient. Not clean. Everything is very expensive. Old technology. Even the advertisement board doesn’t work properly. WiFi is free that’s the only reason for the single star. If you have a option, avoid it.
