::Very nice place with comfortable format. There is no menu, you just come and seat, and after several minutes you get homemade carry . We paid 1400 rupees for the meal plus 400 for the drinks (2 couconuts and tea). Also there is no fence on the second floort, so it looks very cool.

::The best food in Hikkaduwa. If you want to eat well and a lot, you should go there. Really nice hosts also.

::probably the best rice and (vegetable) curry of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! there's no menu here, you eat what the cook comes up with on the day. our highlights were aubergine and pumpkin (but everything else was good too). the ginger tea at the end was simply sublime! the food comes in generous portions, and only costs 700 rps per head, and another 100 for the tea. we arrived soon after it opens (6:45pm), and we were seated despite not having a reservation. but pretty much everyone after us was turned away, so booking is recommended. a real find!

::I'm trying to come up with something to whine about so as to not come across as a restaurant plant. But I've got nothing. There's no sea view. There's that. But they don't need it. A simple and cosy place in an alley. It's hard to find even if you know where it is. It's a set vegetarian menu. So just sit and they'll just bring what's on. A variety of traditional Lankesian small dishes. You're supposed to order a day in advance. We didn't. It worked out anyway. Best meal I've had in all Sri Lanka. And I been to some fancy places in Colombo. Everything they brought out was amazing. Just wonderful flavours popping in the mouth. Can't recommend it enough

::Very authentic home cooking by some wonderful ladies. Home cooking and you do need to book all the time. Good food and big tables for groups.
